Russia

From the outset, the Reinhuys Company has prioritized the export of South African Game meat and venison to the Russian Federation.

Though only a few abattoirs in the Southern African region are at the current state approved for the export of ostrich meat to Russia, exporters remain hopeful for the clearance of diplomatic relations between South Africa and Russia regarding the exporting of other species of game meat.

South African game meat purposed for export, is of the highest quality of European standards, abiding by the most strenuous of regulations and standards.

With the declining of the New Zealand venison exports due to various economic factors, the succulent, healthy and organic meat of South African game in species of Blue-Wildebeest, Impala, Springbuck and kudu are an excellent option for an exclusive dinner.

Making use of exotic meats are a concept not at all foreign to the most experienced Russian chefs in the finest of restaurants and hotels in Moscow, St Petersburg and other major cities. Because of the high quality of the meat, it remains an upmarket and exclusive option for the different cuts available, proving to be a much sought after meat worldwide.

Russians, in particular, are very cautious of non-genetically modified, organic meat of top quality, and that is what the Reinhuys Trading Company is proud to deliver.

For both Russian importers and distributors of meat alike, feel free to contact us and we will be available for a discussion on pricing, logistics, and the various options of product availability.

Export to African Countries

The Reinhuys Trading Company has extensive experience in the commerce with various African countries, especially that of East-Southern Africa such as Mozambique, and Zimbabwe, as well as the West African countries of Senegal and Guinea-Conakry.

Because of the unique nature of African economies, and the cold chain being constantly established on a yearly basis, Reinheys has developed tailor made packages and solutions for specific countries and regions.

Eastern Europe

As part of the strategy for a global enterprise and reaching all major international markets, all East European countries remain a priority for our export activities, especially to the major hubs of Ukraine, Serbia and the Czech Republic.

A constant flow of communication is also maintained with importers and distributors of exotic meats in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia with many excellent prospects that commerce to these countries will start to commence in 2017.

Most people in the urban areas of these regions are very familiar with high-quality wild meat and venison, thus the popularity of the African game meat and venison products with East European citizens.

Further updates on which outlets and regions specifically will be published in the Reinhuys News section.

Asian Countries

Although the South African game meat and venison export quantities to China, Japan and Korea have been somewhat limited, the potential of supplies lies unprecedented.

The rapid growing economy of the People’s Republic of China has in recent years contributed to a large middle to high-class consumer sector, who has a special preference for high quality organic meat.

Even though in scale, the Chinese market for exotic meats seems to be beyond that what South Africa can produce at this stage, the export to Chinese customers remains a very lucrative option as the specialty meat is not only limited, creating a high demand for it, but is much sought after, especially because of its exceptional quality in taste and value.

On the other hand, has the Japanese wealth for a long time now ensured that Japanese consumers can choose between better quality meats, in spite of a very strong economy, without having to pay the highest of prices for the best products available across the globe.

Diplomatic relations regarding the health and safety aspects for the export of the packaged meat between South Africa and various Asian countries is currently ongoing and will play a major role in the forthcoming growth of the South African venison industry.

Little effort, regarding the promoting of game meat in Asian countries has been made in the past, yet with the potential, the focus will gradually shift with an increase of volume in shipments of various cuts of meat.
